First Access Partners with Columbia Business School

First Access is proud to be a client of Columbia Business School’s Small Business Consulting Program (SBCP), and to have a team of four graduate business students with diverse backgrounds who will work with First Access for six-months. They will be consulting First Access on best practices in remote management and international team-building.

The nature of our work scatters the First Access team across continents, and while our technology is ultra-scalable, we intend to maintain a lean and flexible team. Between Tanzania and the United States, First Access is already managing relationships with seventeen institutions and counting. We anticipate that coordinating our progress across geographic and time zone barriers will be a central challenge as First Access grows, so we’re building solutions early on that can scale with us. We look forward to working with Elizabeth Wol, Simone Collins, Annie Koo and Jennifer McCaleb to form a world-class international management strategy! Learn more about them here, on our new Fellows & Consultants page.
